The Happy Team In Battersea

We employ a team of full and part-time staff at Battersea, supported by our Central Management Team at head office. All of our senior staff hold NVQ, NNEB or degree qualifications in childcare, as do many of the carers under their supervision.

Nazmin Uddin, Centre Manager
Nazmin has been with the Happy Times team since 2003, having joined as Team Leader in one of our baby rooms at Battersea. At the time she joined the team, Nazmin already had eight years of experience working with children between the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Nazmin had started her career working for a crèche in Richmond upon Thames before moving on to work for Asquith Court in Battersea for a five year period. Having joined the Happy Times team, through training and support of the company, she has now progressed through the roles of Deputy Manager and Acting Manager to the fully fledged position of Nursery Manager at our Battersea centre.

Holding a BTEC National certificate in Childhood Studies and possessing a great deal of knowledge and experience in childcare, Nazmin is confident in providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment in which our children can develop through their first years.

Nazmin’s daughter, who is also one of our happy children at Battersea, has been with us from the age of six months and has flourished during her time here – a shining example of Happy Times’ approach to childcare and education.
